Verify that the Alarmnet radio is in ECP mode

Other modes of operation will work on this panel, but the ECP mode is the best choice.

Verify the Address of the Alarmnet radio

The default address is 03. This is the proper address.

Verify that the Alarmnet radio is enabled in the panel

For Vista-10se: Set *27 = 1 to enable the radio backup.

For Vista-15/ 20: Set *29 = 1 to enable the radio backup.

Swinger Suppression can shutdown the Alarmnet just like the dialer.

*92 on a Vista-10.

*93 on a vista-15 or 20.

Entry of 1 = unlimited reports

Entry of 0 = maximum of 10 reports per armed period.

Are the events enabled to report for normal communication?

In report-code programming or Zone Programming, enable a report code for anything that should send on the radio – just like for the dialer. A “0” in the first digit disables the report.

Check Dynamic Signaling Priority and Delay

Ø       *54 = Delay: 0-15 times 15 seconds

Ø       *55 = Signal priority 0 = dialer first; 1 = radio first

Ø       Operation:

§         Whichever signal path is selected in *55 is attempted first.

§         If a successful communication is not made after the delay in *54, the backup report path is attempted.

§         If *54 = 0, both paths are activated simultaneously.
