I am taking over this system. What do I need to program? This document will explain the common fields that are needed to enable basic communication. Note: program locations for fields mentioned will vary from panel to panel. Refer to the appropriate program form. Contents… · Program your Central Station Receiver and account number · Program locations for a Vista-10/15/20/30 · Program locations for a Vista-32/40/50/100/128/250 Program your Central Station Receiver and account number· For the system to report, it must have a phone number and account number and a report code programmed for the event you are trying to report. Program report codes· The system must have a report code programmed to enable each report. · If you are using a low speed format, the digits that you have programmed will literally be the code that is reported. · If you are Using Contact ID format, the report is enabled by a report code with a first digit that is not 00 · In zone programming, report codes are entered in a hexadecimal format. In other words, each “digit” is 2 key-strokes. You may see a report code screen such as: 01 00 10. In this case, 01 is your first digit (1). 00 is the second digit (0); and 10 is the combination (1 for first, 0 for second) · In standard program fields (outside the menu mode), you may key in report codes by a direct entry. For example if you want to program a report code of 52, simply enter a 52 into that program location. Refer the appropriate program form for more information. Report format· Verify that the format you are sending is supported by the receiver that you want to send to. · Make sure that this format is selected in programming. Program locations for a Vista-10/15/20/30· *41 = Primary phone number · *42 = secondary phone number · *43 = primary account number · *44 = secondary account number (Vista-15 and Vista-20 only) · *56 = zone programming (for zone response and report codes) Ø This is a menu-driven mode and requires a 6139 or 6160 keypad to program. · *46 = format on Vista-10/30 *48 = format for Vista-15/20 Ø 0 = 3+1 or 4+1 Ademco Ø 1 = 3+1 or 4+1 Radionics Ø 2 = 4+2 Ademco Ø 3 = 4+2 Radionics Ø 7 = Contact ID Program locations for a Vista-32/40/50/100/128/250· *33 = Primary phone number · *34 = secondary phone number · *32= primary account number Ø This is hexadecimal entry (2 keystrokes per digit) Ø For example, to program act number 1234, key: *32 01 02 03 04 · *90 = secondary account number Ø This is hexadecimal entry (2 keystrokes per digit) Ø For example, to program act number 1234, key: *90 01 02 03 04 · #93 = zone programming (for zone response and report codes) Ø This is a menu-driven mode and requires a 6139 or 6160 keypad to program. · *45 = format on Vista-10/30 *48 = format for Vista-15/20 Ø 0 = low speed (3+1/4+1/4+2) Ø 1 = Contact ID Ø 2 = Ademco High Speed Ø 3 = Ademco Express (4x2 DTMF) |
