ADEMCO has discovered an anomaly in some Vista series panels that will prevent downloading if the panel system clock is set to the year 2003.

All other system functions (alarms, CS Reports, etc…) remain unaffected.

Brief summary of solutions:

 Solution at Keypad:  

 Set the date to 2031 manually via keypad

  Solution at Downloader (on panels that have not had the clock set yet): 

 Set the year to 2031 in the communications section of the COMPASS Downloader, then download the date to the panel

           ·          Open the panel, then select Communications! from the menu bar.

·          Once connected, select Commands>Time>Set.  (This displays the “Set Panel Time/Date” window.)

·          On the RIGHT side of the “Set Panel Time/Date” window, change the year to 2031 then click OK.

·          A confirmation window pops up - click OK to continue
